Charity
The
Greatest Of These

May
we seek after fervent
charity among ourselves
The
bond most perfect, that
never fails
Charity
suffers long and is kind
Where
knowledge may boast and
vanish from mind.
It's
in charity that
profiteth one most
It's
in love from Jesus that
willingly gave up the ghost
That
gave His life on Calvary
Hill
Give
us this love and placed
on His seal.
Without
this love, brotherly
kindness will diminish
It
takes charity for the
church to replenish
Though
I would have faith to
remove mountains
Without
charity I am nothing,
but as a waterless
fountain.
May
we abound in love, faith
and peace
May
we endure with patience
that will never cease
As
trees whose fruit will
never wither
As
branches clinging to the
Vine by the flowing
river.
May
we be as salt of the
earth that will never
loose its savor
That
will never be cast out
to be trodden of man for
our labor
May
we pray earnestly never
ceasing
May
we live our life for God
that will be most
pleasing.
May
we greet each other with
the blessedness of
charity
Desiring
to be fed with Heaven's
clarity
May
we feast with fear as we
journey onward
Holding
to our Savior's promises
as we climb upward.
...And
now abideth faith hope,
charity, these three;
but
the greatest of these is
charity. 1
Corinthians 13:13
