Friends
are like medicine
That
brings comfort to our day
Making
merry our heart
As
we pursue on our way.

Friends
are a blessing
Leaving
memories that lift
Like
angels in the midst
Sharing
down a joyful gift.

A
friend’s bond soothes,
A
spirit that is low or broken
By
their loving kindness
Of
their words fitly spoken.

Friends
are someone special
Our
imperfections they patiently bear
Always
standing beside us
With
helping hands, because they care.

Friends
are like a ray of sunshine
That
adds a glow to our heart
Wishing
they were near, when far away
For
the love their life does impart.

A
true friend loveth at all times
Contemplating
the good with the bad
Easy
to be entreated with
Showing
pity when the heart is sad.

To
be without friends
Is
like a cloudy day of gloom
Or
like a beautiful flower
That
has failed to fragrantly bloom.

We
must show ourselves friendly
If
we want to have the joy of friends
To
have a friend is to be a friend
This
precious treasure God lovingly lends.

A
Merry heart doeth good like a medicine;
but
a broken spirit drieth the bones. Proverbs 17:22
